Mayweather is broke according to Jake Paul
Floyd Mayweather has been accused by Jake Paul of not having enough money to pay his brother Logan for their exhibition bout in June.
Logan had stated that Mayweather had not paid him in full and that he would pursue the matter in court.
Meanwhile, entrepreneur Rob Moore shared an interview with Jake in which he criticizes Mayweather on Instagram.
“Floyd is bankrupt, man,” Jake Paul said.
“It’s something I’ve been saying the entire time. I believe he spent money on all the girls he pays to be in his company.”
Jake Paul’s retort to Mayweather
The former boxer has only spoken publicly about the allegations once, in February, when he discussed it on The Pivot Podcast.
“To them, this comes with the territory, and that’s real money, and I like YouTubers,” Mayweather remarked.
“The money from pay-per-view, on the other hand, takes a long time to come in.
“Nothing happens immediately. I’m still getting paid for bouts that happened seven or eight years ago.
“They despise it when the tables are turned on them. Be grateful for the largest paycheck you’ve ever received.”
The fight happened over a year ago, on June 6, 2021, but Paul claims he has yet to get the money he is owed for going the full eight rounds with Mayweather.
